According to some studies, only 1 in 3 men are happy with their lives.
If you’re in the minority, and you’re feeling happy and fulfilled in your life, that’s great!
If you’re not, here are some questions to help you find your passion.
Figuring out what lights you up and makes you feel completely alive may help you kickstart a new vision for your life.
Here are some questions to take you one step closer to figuring out what it is that makes you come alive.
To make the most out of these questions, turn of all distractions and let your imagination run loose.
Give yourself the permission to dream big. If you’ve been stuck in the daily grind for years, you may find your fears and hesitation kick in as soon as you start dreaming big.
IMPORTANT: You’ll instantly start thinking of all the reasons your dreams are irrational or impossible. Don't worry about those thoughts and just remain focussed on the questions.
When you discover your passion, and you combine it with your strengths, you will come alive and shine. Finding your passion can take time and effort, but the investment is worth it.
When I coach people one of the things I always do is to help them become completely congruent so there is alignment between their strengths, vision, values, passion, purpose and goals.
Here are a few of the questions I ask to help students find their congruency sweet spot:
1. What do you love doing so much that you lose track of time when you do it?
Is there something you do that you get completely absorbed in?
2. What are you completely amazing at?
Sometimes it’s hard for us to see our strengths. Do you get complimented frequently on being really great at something? Think about what comes easily for you that others struggle with.
3. Who inspires you?
Consider not only who they are but why they inspire you.
To your success.
